From the editor – Autumn Edition
10th March, 2026Who else is relieved that a long and very hot and muggy summer is officially over?! Personally I love the autumn – it is a beautiful season of nature cooling down with stunning colour changes in preparation for the winter sleep a few months ahead. So I hope you enjoy the next few weeks of lighter evenings and the still very warm sunny days before Easter arrives and our clocks go back once again, and we prepare to make changes to our daily routines to embrace the best possible options to see us through the cooler months happy, fit and healthy.
In this edition of the newsletter we hear from Paul, our expert resident Acupuncturist. The change of seasons has a very real effect on our body’s and Paul has some really great insights to share, which naturally include the benefit of acupuncture – which is not a ‘one size fits all’ modality. Every treatment with Paul is carefully curated to ensure the absolute best outcome for each client.
We also have an overview of Dr Izzy’s recent trip to volunteer with Hands on Health in India. The full version of her amazing experience will soon be available in the reception area.
Dave has worked his last Saturday on March 8th. Izzy will be taking over from him and the lovely front-desk ladies will help with your bookings. Or feel free to make your appointments via the website. (Book Here) Dave will continue to work Tuesday – Friday. Maddy, Christie and Izzy are all available during the week but Christie and Izzy will ‘hold the fort’ on a Saturday.
The lovely Carla is now working full time as a nurse – The Mater’s gain – so we are on the hunt for a massage therapist. The specific details are inside. There is also a recipe inside the newsletter too. We are always open to sharing your favourite recipes so please send them in to info@beyondself.com.au for inclusion.
Take care.
Warmly, Sarah
