20th June, 2021As we head into another round of homeschooling, it’s important to maintain a healthy and balanced approach to life. Our family has found that getting out in nature helps us feel grounded as we do the ‘new’ juggle! Here is a list of places to visit that we have enjoyed.
Walk
- Hike from Seaforth Oval to Bantry Bay Bluff
- Hike from Tania Park to Dobroyd Head
- Hike around Manly Dam
- Walk to the wormhole from Queenscliff (Short walk)
- Warriewood Wetland Walk Loop and Irrawong Waterfall
- Walk up to Long Reef Lookout
- Palm Beach to Barrenjoey Lighthouse
- West Head – Resolute Beach
- West Head – Army track (lots of ladders)
- West Head – America Bay track (good for sunset)
- West Head – Towlers Bay Circuit
- Walk at St Ives Wildflower Gardens
- Dee Why to Curl Curl Headland Walk
- Bobbin Head – Boardwalk and Rainforest Walk
- Manly North Head to Shelly Beach
Bike / Scoot
- Bike ride around Narrabeen lake
- Curl Curl netball courts for scooting and skateboarding
- Scooters around Manly
- St Ives playground and bike ride
- Terry Hills Perimeter Trail bike ride
- Scooter Manly to North Harbour Reserve
- Cremorne Point – walk or scooter

- Rock dens behind Shelly Beach
