When asked about their stress levels, people often respond “yes I suppose I am stressed, but that’s just life!” While it’s true that many of us are well aware that stress isn’t beneficial for our well-being, we often find ourselves caught in a chronic state of stress without effective means to cope with it. Emotional stress is commonly associated with feelings of overwhelm and anxiety, yet what often goes unnoticed are the profound physiological changes that occur as a result of prolonged stress, potentially contributing to a range of physical symptoms. These unresolved stressors can manifest as back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sleep disturbances, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, fear, phobias and more.
