Speech Pathologists study, diagnose and treat communication disorders including difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, social skills, stuttering and using voice.
Orofacial myologists study, diagnose and treat the “structural” issues causing dysfunction of articulation, breathing, posture, dental development and swallowing. This may include tethered oral tissues such as tongue-tie, thumb sucking, ENT issues and snoring and sleep apnoea.
