Christie Callender
Integrative Chiropractor
My personal health challenges throughout my teenage years and early 20’s fuels my passion for working with teens and young adults. Through many years of trial and error, being told there was nothing wrong with me, and seeing multiple practitioners with little results, I always found myself coming back to Chiropractic. It helped me to not only start to heal from the inside out, but to cultivate a sense of body awareness and to trust that I knew when something wasn’t right. I started out in the health industry as a Personal Trainer and Stretch Therapy teacher, and continued on to study a Bachelor of Health Science (Sydney University), a Masters of Chiropractic (Macquarie University), Sacro-occipital Technique and Neuro-Emotional Technique.
For me, health is about going back to the basics and remembering how we are supposed to feel. I focus on removing biomechanical, nutritional, or emotional stressors that hinder our bodies’ natural ability to heal and thrive, and feel passionately about educating and inspiring people to cultivate a better connection with their body, and realise how good they can actually feel, given the right tools.
